Vintage Farming started on a small patch of Telangana soil with one belief: that food should be grown without poisons, the way our grandparents did it, with country cattle, native seed and patience.
For a few years other priorities took over and we lost the connection. The land waited. When we finally walked the fields again, we knew we had to do it properly this time, not as a hobby but as a promise.
The promise we made
- No chemicals, no shortcuts, nothing to hide.
- Native seeds saved and sown season after season.
- An open gate, so any family can come and see how their food is grown.
The land never forgot what it could be. We are only catching up to it.
We are still early in this second chapter. But the soil is darkening, the millets are back, and on a good morning the whole farm smells like the one we grew up around. That is enough to keep going.
